Case Study: Halifax Citadel Regimental Association

Challenge:

Building on the ideas of the Ivany Report, and the ongoing global discussion, the Chamber’s Annual Spring Dinner presented an ideal opportunity to move the immigration agenda forward and mobilize the business community to take responsibility and action to invest in immigration, and help new Nova Scotians succeed in the province.

Solution:

Sherie worked with the dynamo teams at the Chamber and ISANS to inject new vibrancy and relevancy into the conversation around immigration in our region. The dinner served as a launchpad for a compelling narrative: to promote immigration as an important investment in our province and our future prosperity.

Results:

The dinner was an incredibly moving event that successfully promoted the value of immigration, the success stories that are already taking place, and the great opportunity we have in front of us. New Nova Scotians looking for work were connected with potential employers, and immigrant entrepreneurs were highlighted. Our engagement reach through the social media campaign boasted more than 480,000 impressions. Along with its strategic partner, ISANS, the Chamber successfully ignited a fresh dialogue on immigration, uniting partners, stakeholders, students, newcomers, and rallying the business community to take action.
